  • What was your title when you first joined our Company?
  • I was hired as office support staff but I wanted to achieve much more in my career. Since I was motivated to continue my education, the Company helped me and, with additional training and development assignments, I moved into my senior manager role. It’s taken a lot of hard work, but it’s been worth it.
  • What brought you to our Company?
  • The media industry always interested me and I wanted to be part of The New York Times Company because of its outstanding reputation. Also, I felt there would be opportunities to grow in the Company because it’s a big organization, with lots of locations. I was right. In fact, the Company really supports talented staff, who want to grow into supervisory and managerial positions.
  • What makes working at our Company so special?
  • Aside from the volleyball and softball teams? We’re never satisfied with the status quo.We look for new challenges and take on fresh and exciting projects constantly. We experiment with new technologies to find better ways to get things done, whether it’s speeding up an administrative process, handling customer data or improving our products and services.
  • What have you learned working at our Company?
  • Since I’ve had a number of different responsibilities, I’ve learned many skills. Overall, I’d say it’s important to adapt to change. And the best way to do that is to collaborate with people. Here, it’s easy to collaborate with your coworkers, because everybody understands we’re on a team together.
