2011 Let Freedom Ring Celebration
Members of the Georgetown and Washington, D.C., communities celebrate and reflect upon the legacy of Martin Luther King Jr. at the annual Let Freedom Ring Celebration at the Kennedy Center. The celebration included civil rights leader Rev. Joseph E. Lowery receiving the John Thompson, Jr. Legacy of a Dream Award and a performance by Patti LaBelle.
