Promoting Thoughtful Integration of Technology in the Classroom

CNDLS helps faculty explore how to make the best use of technology in their teaching, through strategies such as implementing course blogs, designing multimedia assignments, and using social media for language learning.

CNDLS staff members collaborate with faculty to research, design, and develop new software applications to enhance student learning, from specific course tools such as the interactive online textbook Optics WebText to the Commons’ flexible tools for collaboration. CNDLS also experiments with new ways to use existing technology, modeling and supporting these strategies for faculty.
