Like any educational environment, the spirit of CNDLS comes from the people. The CNDLS team is an eclectic group of teachers and scholars who share a passion for new approaches to teaching and learning. Everyone from instructional design enthusiasts to technology experts contributes to our collaborative workspace and ‘workshop’ for innovative ideas in education.
The Center for New Designs in Learning and Scholarship owes much of its success and forward momentum to its collaboration with the organizations listed here. Over the years, the Center for New Designs in Learning and Scholarship has benefited from the diligent dedication of professionals and experts whose diverse portfolio demonstrated excellence and innovation in learning and scholarship. CNDLS is grateful for their generous contribution as past members of the team and looks forward to applauding their accomplishments as parts of a growing network of friends and colleagues.
CNDLS team members love working with — and have great respect for — the faculty they support. Many CNDLS staffers also teach in the University or participate in the Georgetown community through committee work, extracurricular activities, or their own research.
CNDLS' Graduate Student Associates (GAs) share our staff's enthusiasm for all that fosters the scholarship of teaching and learning. Every Graduate Associate is an integral part of the CNDLS team and participates fully in the atmosphere of open communication, teamwork, and sharing of knowledge and ideas. GAs dedicate most of their time to working closely with Georgetown University faculty members and students on academic and professional projects; they also participate in a variety of CNDLS and university-wide projects and events.
