Svante Öberg

Svante Öberg. Photo Petter KarlbergSvante Öberg is first Deputy Governor. He represents the Riksbank in the EU’s Economic and Financial Committee and in the ESCB’s International Relations Committee. Mr Öberg has previously been Director General of Statistics Sweden and the National Institute of Economic Research, state secretary at the Ministry of Finance and adviser at the International Monetary Fund.


Svante Öberg's term of office is six years from 1 January 2006.
