Construction and lack of parking spaces in and around the Washington,
D.C. area and on campus can often make driving to and parking on or near
campus very challenging. We encourage visitors whenever possible to take
a taxi or public transportation to campus. Taxis can take you directly
to our front gates at the intersection of 37th & O streets in
Georgetown. Turn right as you enter campus and you will be headed in the
direction of the White Gravenor building. The Office of Undergraduate
Admissions is located in White Gravenor, Room 103 and the office is
accessible through the center doors off the patio. You can find driving and public
transportation instructions below.
* Please note: Reduced rate visitor parking is not available at the
Leavey Student Center or Georgetown Medical Center/Hospital. Visitors to
the main campus who park at the Leavey Center or Medical Center/Hospital
are responsible for any parking charges incurred, approximately $10 per
hour. Our limited visitor parking for prospective students/parents is in
the Southwest Parking Garage off of M Street. You can use the following GPS address to find the back entrance to Georgetown off of M Street: 3613 Canal Rd, NW. Washington DC 20007.
* Please also note: Due to very limited parking on campus, visitor
parking is never guaranteed and the garage often fills up very early in
the day. In the event that you cannot find a parking spot in the
Southwest Garage, you can return to the parking attendant and they may
be able to direct you to a satellite parking lot about 1 mile away from
campus. Alternatively, parking on the Georgetown streets, while free, is
limited to 2 hours and is strictly monitored by DC parking enforcement.
If you need to park on the street, please feel free to leave your tour
early in order to get back to your car in time.
