JENDOUBA (TAP) - Two young people who were attempting to enter the Tunisian territory illegally through village of Melloula in the delegation of Tabarka, were arrested, on Sunday, by the Jendouba Governorate's local special units assisted by the Tabarka National Guard's land border brigade.
Security sources told TAP news agency that these two persons have no identity documents and had managed to enter the Algerian territory illegally.
The two illegal immigrants said they were planning to go to Tunis or other coastal city to look for job.
Stepped up security campaigns are jointly carried out by the interior security forces, the special units and the National Army along the Tunisian-Algerian land border.
