TATAOUINE (TAP) - Fighting resumed on Wednesday between forces loyal to Gaddafi and rebels at the level of the Dhehiba/Wazen border crossing.

Violent clashes took place at the mountain near the border on the Libyan side and in an area located between Wazen and Ghazeya.

Eyewitnesses told TAP correspondent in the region that significant reinforcements joined the rebels while Gaddafi forces responded by a barrage of heavy artillery.
