SFAX (TAP) - The city of Sfax will host, next June 20-21, a seminar on "The Use of European Projects in Local and Regional Development."

 

Tunisian and foreign experts representing national and international scientific and development structures will take part in this two-day seminar, held by BioProtech project financed by the European Union.

The aim of the seminar is to boost research and development capacities of the Sfax-based Biotechnology Centre and allow the different intervening parties in matters of regional development in Sfax (university, technopole, local council, structures of support to investment, civil society...) to take advantage of European financing mechanisms.

Projects focusing on important development issues in the region of sfax such as environment, health, tourism, basic infrastructure and others will be submitted to the meeting and proposed to the various European financing tools.
