TUNIS (TAP)-  The Customs Brigade of Medenine, on Saturday, intercepted a suspicious car with neither car plates nor documents with onboard two individuals from foreign nationality.

The customs said in a communiqué that the car and its passengers were submitted to a meticulous search by the customs officers, leading to the seizure of cartridges for Kalashnikov machine gun.

The public prosecutor's office is investigating the case and the suspicious car was confiscated for further investigation.

The same source also said that the seized ammunition will be handed to the National Army services to continue the investigation into this case.
