A person refusing to comply with security forces warning killed

interieur_ministereTUNIS (TAP) - Refusing to stop in compliance with a security patrol warning, a person was killed last Wednesday, the Interior Ministry reported Saturday.

The home security and Army forces did receive information on a suspicious person in the region of El Fahs and sent patrols to chase this person who refused to comply with customary warnings, says the Interior Ministry communiqué .

The chase went on a long time and the above-mentioned person did not obey the order to stop in spite of warning shots, entered an urban area and jumped over the walls of two houses, to be shot dead .

The person was transferred to the regional hospital of Zaghouan and then to a hospital in Tunis at the request of the local public prosecutor's office which opened an inquiry, the communiqué adds .

The special circumstances the country is living through require that citizens and particulary drivers to comply with orders to stop of Army and security forces to preserve their safety and ease the work of security patrols and Army units, concludes the communiqué.
