Dr. Paul Farmer, co-founder of the health care group Partners in Health, has devoted his life to solving public health problems in areas like Beirut, Russia, and Haiti.
Students in the Program on Science in the Public Interest, Michael Barclay (C'12) and Anthony Conyers (C12) traveled to Mali after receiving a grant to help improve public transportation in the capital city.

2011 looks to be another year of growth and innovation for Georgetown College. Two exciting minors, Business Administration and Film and Media Studies have been added to the College’s already expansive curriculum. Construction on our new 154,000 square state-of-the art Science Center has begun in earnest.
Throughout the academic year, Georgetown College students are invited to join Georgetown alumni and leading members of the Washington, DC community for lunch and conversation. The College Dean’s Office will host visitors from across a variety of career fields for informal exchange and dialogue about.
