Stephanie Green is a staff writer and columnist for the Washington Times. She, along with Elizabeth Glover, pens the paper's gossip and personalities column "Green and Glover" five days a week. In addition, Miss Green writes "Random Acts", a bimonthly look at local charities and philanthropic events and programs. You can also see her byline on stories involving fashion, culture, special features, and breaking news.

Before joining the Times, Miss Green was a freelance reporter for the Alexandria Times and a contributing editor and writer for Capitol File Magazine. Her work has also appeared in The Washingtonian.

Miss Green's broadcast career includes stints at C-SPAN and XM-Sirius Radio, where she co-produced POTUS 08, the first radio channel dedicated to coverage of the 2008 presidential election from the early primaries through election night.

Prior to entering journalism, Miss Green worked in politics, most notably on the presidential campaign of Senator John Kerry and for Campaign Finance Consultants, a Washington political consulting firm, where she began her career in 2002.

She is a graduate with honors with dual degrees in anthropology and political science from Purdue University, and has completed graduate coursework in journalism at Georgetown University.
