Sandy Vee: The Starmaker (AUDIO)

width=He is the Grammy Award-winning producer of such hits as Rihana's "Only Girl in the World" and Katy Perry's "Firework." Easily described as the next truly great music producer, few know that just about a year ago, Frenchman, Sandy Vee didn't know one word of English but self-taught himself the language and has become the go-to guy whenever a superstar needs to inject some adrenaline into their career. Kylie Minogue, Britney Spears, Pitbull -- they have all worked with him.

Incredibly down-to-earth and approachable, Vee has not forgotten his humble roots in Europe where he began his career and the doors slammed in his face. He has come a long way and now does whatever he can, in his chaotic busy schedule to help others.

In our interview with Vee today, he explains his rise to success, what it takes to make hit song, what it's like working with major divas and his advice to aspiring artist who wish to break in on the music scene today.
