C'mon, people! You go to college. You drink! It has nothing whatsoever to do with who your parents are! If Nate's dad wasn't Joe Montana, we never would have heard about this. College kids drink and college kids get caught DUI. It doesn't make it right but it happens.

Come on BlueZoo, it's the drinking AND driving that should be obvious here. You wanna get loaded? Fine, just don't get behind the wheel.
11:51 PM on 6/03/2011
I don't have a problem with college kids drinking, even if they are underage, as long as they aren't driving.

I certainly agree with you and adcan49 re drinking and driving and that goes for everybody, not just college kids. My disgust is with the MSM who dwell on the children of famous people, as if a parent knows what's going on once their child leaves home and enters college. Case in point is my valedictorian (both in high school and in an Ivy League university) niece who came home on breaks and told me some hair-raising stories re frat parties she attended where drinking and drug use were apparent. Her parents were completely unaware, as I did not break my niece's confidences, as she had enough good sense to not DUI. Niece is now nearly through med school. I just don't like the implication in this story that Mr. and Mrs. Montana are somehow guilty for their son''s bad decisions.

Joe Montana has become the ultimate Pop Warner dad, moving his kids from school to school, insisting they start because they are his kids......You had your career Joe, let it go man....

All that negative talk about Rudy came back to bite you Joe.

Here's a shocker: Most "typical 21-year olds" do not get DUIs and *if* by chance they do, those DUIs are *not* the second serious drinking offense in their young lives.

I already know what Joe Montana looks like. Why not a photo of his son the culprit of this article.

They do look alike in uniform. Even the same number. I'm sure the photo I commented on is of Nate. Thanks, Fellow Ponderer of the Universe.
