Joseph Ward III is the Director of Communications for the interfaith NGO Intersections International. Ward earned his Bachelor’s from The George Washington University in Washington, D.C. Most recently he helped organize the 2008 U.S. Senate and presidential campaigns of Senator Tom Udall and former Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton, respectively. In 2010, Ward was named a 21st Century Fellow and joined twenty people of color managers working for the nations leading LGBT human rights, services and advocacy organizations, in a year-long fellowship designed for leaders in the LGBT movement. Ward writes widely on a number of political, social justice and foreign affairs issues with a particular emphasis on LGBT Human Rights.
