One Green Planet is an online ecosystem that draws links between the world of ecology, the environment and vegan living. It is a platform that brings together a range of distinct voices, from experts to passionate bloggers, unified by a commitment to spreading good ideas that benefit people, animals and the planet.

We believe that many of the current challenges being faced by humans, our fellow species and the environment are largely interconnected, and can be traced back to our culture of reckless consumption. If we truly want to bring about long-term change, we need to start by identifying the root causes and developing common solutions. The time for negotiating “eco-friendly” ways to exploit the natural world and “humane” ways to abuse animals has passed. Today, we as consumers face a choice between waiting for institutions to change their unfair, unsafe and unsustainable practices, or becoming a part of the solution right now, by reducing and ultimately eliminating our demand for (and eventually our reliance on) products that are ecologically and ethically irresponsible.

We owe this to ourselves, our future generations and to our only home… this ONE green planet.

To find out more about us, visit One Green Planet and join our growing community on Facebook and Twitter. If you are a business or expert interested in becoming a contributor, supporter or collaborating with our independently-run platform, please contact us.
