Adam Gadahn Urges U.S. Muslims To Start Killing Americans

Adam Gadahn

First Posted: 06/ 3/11 06:40 PM ET Updated: 06/ 3/11 07:27 PM ET

Adam Gadahn, a highly influential al Qaeda figure born in America, has issued a call to arms for U.S. Muslims.

In a newly released video (scroll down to view), Gadahn tells Muslims in the West to stockpile assault rifles and "target major institutions and public figures."

"Do not rely on others, take the task upon yourself," Gadahn said, according to the Middle East Media Research Institute. "What are you waiting for? America is absolutely awash with easily obtainable firearms."

The two-hour incendiary video began popping up on jihadi websites Friday. In addition to offering tips on how to obtain firearms, Gadahn gives examples of potential targets: Merrill Lynch, Bank of America and Exxon.

"It's just a matter of entrusting the matter to Allah and choosing the right place, the right time and the right method," Gadahn said.

Fear of getting caught should not be a deterrent, according to Gadahn: “If it's Allah's will that you be captured, then it's not the end the world and it doesn't necessarily mean that you're going to spend the rest of your life in prison," he said.

Gadahn, 32, was born in California in 1978 to a Jewish father and Christian mother. At age 17, he converted to Islam and was recruited by a mosque that had links to al Qaeda. Gadahn later fled to Afghanistan, where he joined up with al Qaeda, met Osama bin Laden and became the terrorist group’s main propagandist.

Story continues below

A U.S. court indicted Gadahn in absentia for treason in 2006. The FBI considers him one of the "most wanted terrorists" in the world, and the State Department is offering a $1 million reward for his capture.

"Muslims in the West have to remember that they are perfectly placed to play an important and decisive part in the jihad against the Zionists and crusaders, and to do major damage to the enemies of Islam, waging war on their religion, sacred places and things and brethren," Gadahn said. "This is a golden opportunity and a blessing."

Another radical calling for attacks on the U.S. I wonder when he will retire and join the teaching profession like the 1960s radicals did?

For anyone who may feel nervous, or concerned about Muslims, or whatever -- don't be.

Let's look at the facts: Al Qaeda types have been calling for American Muslims to become violent since well before 9/11.

We have (at least) 6 Million Americans who worship as Muslims.

In the last decade (through the end of 2010) exactly 161 of them have been arrested on suspicion of involvement in terrorist activities.

The number one source for reporting their activities has been American Muslims themselves.

Here's a brief, recently-published report from Duke University, with the details:

http://sanford.duke.edu/centers/tcths/about/documents/Kurzman_Muslim-American_Terrorism_Since_911_An_Accounting.pdf

Terrorists, and their sympathizers, attempt to leverage everything from high-profile murder of civilians, to the media's inclination to promote the sensational (example: this story), to make themselves seem more influential that they actually are; recent estimates have Al Qaeda's global membership ranging from several dozen to several thousand members, total, global -- out of 1.6 Billion Muslims, worldwide.

They feel they're fighting a war, and so they take this approach; religion, per their glaring distortions of it, have nothing to do with this; if Islam taught violence - we'd see a lot more of it.

Our job is to see all this for what it is, and not waste time or emotional energy where the terrorists want us to: thinking about them, worrying about Muslims, and arguing with each other.

From the report:
"This report documents a downturn in the pace of Muslim-American terrorism"

- Thank you FBI keep up the good work

In a twisted way, this guy is an useful idiot. He is a perfect bait to bring out traitors like him living among us.

Great Idea. We will start with you Adam Gahahn. And then since you won't be anymore, we can start with the non-American terrorists again.......oh wait....gotta get that looney tune in Yemen first......

Rome is Rome. It burned many times. It's still there.

There's really no need to get bent because a radical wants to overthrow the U.S. government. Every generation throws up a few.

Bring what on?

I don't know if you've noticed, but American Muslims don't pay any attention to fools like this guy; they're regular Americans - who worship as Muslims.

Doug many mosques are financed by the Saudi wahabist. You know that you are fan of the Qurtuba victory mosque or what ever you want to call it.
Once the Saudies establish a foot step, it isn't hard for them to infiltrate it with their way of religion. And who said that the Saudies are wrong in their believes, they are diligent followers of their religion?

American raised kids, influence by our CIA, seem to be at the top of this terrorist group. Who really put them there, and allowed them to stay?

Any American Muslims who do not condemn this call for violence publicly should be considered terrorist supporters and their mosques should be closed down and auctioned off.

Let's start with CAIR and the MSA. Then we will get to individual American Muslims starting in Dearborn. Let's Roll people.

Fortunately, we have laws to protect peaceful American citizens of all religions from over-reactions like yours.

Muslim terrorism kills a lot more Muslims than it kills non-Muslims; peaceful Muslims are on our side.

And why in the world does every anti-Muslim have it in for CAIR?

Have you really been taken in by the narrative of the anti-Muslim industry that's based entirely in falsehood?

Read this to see if you have been:

http://www.publiceye.org/liberty/training/Muslim_Menace_Complete.pdf

Plus, CAIR denounces terrorism.

PS- If you really want accurate information, Google around for independent information; anti-Muslim websites don't have it.
12 hours ago (11:12 PM)
I think part of it is that CAIR is the main advocacy group for dealing with anti-Muslim discrimination. Take them out and the bigots have an easier time.
9 hours ago (1:54 AM)
The founder of CAIR said that Islam was in America to become the one and only religion, and made statements supporting the imposition of Sharia law. It is not moderate. I also would love to hear the moderates come out. The outcry among the Muslim community is barely anything.
3 hours ago (8:34 AM)
Nice to see an atheist like Doug defending CAIR I am sure you efforts are totally made for the love of g-d you don't believe in and the religion of peaces you don't practice. You are a trade mark of how dysfunctional this religion is.
18 hours ago (5:33 PM)
I am so glad I never had a interest in religion, it seems to make people so hateful. I will follow my old hippie ways of peace and love. If only all citizens of the world would realize how dangerous religion is.

Adam Yahiye Gadahn: The Fake Terrorist

The FBI lists Gadahn's aliases as Abu Suhayb Al-Amriki, Abu Suhayb, Yihya Majadin Adams, Adam Pearlman, and Yayah.

But Adam Pearlmen is his REAL name! Adam is the grandson of the late Carl K. Pearlman; a prominent Jewish urologist in Orange County. Carl was also a member of the board of directors of the Anti-Defamation League, which was caught spying on Americans for Israel in 1993, much as AIPAC has been caught up in the more recent spy scandal.
