She's been writing for The New York Daily News for the last twelve years. The last 10 years she’s been based in Los Angeles. She was Glamour Magazine’s Entertainment Reporter for four years. She has written for AOL’s Culture and Arts site, doing over 400 Q & A’s with top-level talent. She also writes Home/Celebrity Pieces for AOL. She wrote for Talk Magazine, Inside TV and V Life. Ms. Sydney has worked as a producer and talent coordinator for dozens of high-profile special events. She's also been active in politics, including work for the Clinton/Gore campaigns, the DNC and the DSCC. She traveled with the then Vice President Gore for a month and interviewed him for Glamour Magazine, the first time a women's magazine endorsed a candidate. She later traveled with him for “An Inconvenient Truth.” She has interviewed President William Clinton, Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton, Vice President Joseph Biden and President Barack Obama. She’s active in various causes, including hunger in America and animal rights.
