She traveled with the then Vice President Gore for a month and interviewed him for Glamour Magazine, the first time a women's magazine endorsed a candidate. She later traveled with him for “An Inconvenient Truth.” She has interviewed President William Clinton, Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton, Vice President Joseph Biden and President Barack Obama. She’s active in various causes, including hunger in America and animal rights.
