While Sarah Palin was visiting New York City, Donald Trump took her to get pizza at Famous Famiglia, which is actually a chain and not true NY pizza. Jon Stewart found out about this and went ballistic, tearing Tump a new one while teaching him about real NY pizza.

Recently Gothamist enjoyed a tour of the hidden rooms of the Frick Mansion, better known as the home of the Frick Collection, the once private art collection of steel magnate Henry Clay Frick. Highlights include a beautiful private bowling alley built in 1914, and a retro HVAC system that is still used to control the temperature in the building.

In his series “Superheroes at Home”, photographer Gregg Segal followed Hollywood superhero impersonators home and photographed them performing domestic chores.
While I photographed Batman, a family pulled over to take his picture. He strode up to them with super hero confidence and the children approached him with awe. He was Batman because he was Batman to them. Then later, in his apartment, when he’d taken off his mask and cape and was reheating leftovers in the microwave, he was merely ordinary. I could see what drew him back to Hollywood Boulevard.
