Launching NextAid's Mother's Day Campaign for Maternal Health in Africa
Kicking off April 25th and running throughout the month of May, join NextAid in advocating for improved maternal healthcare for girls and women around the world. Our grassroots campaign seeks to engage everyday activists with a social media campaign and dinner party fundraising events. This initiative is supported by some of the dance music community's top female artists. Join our Causes campaign today and visit www.nextaid.org/women to learn 5 easy ways to take action. Proceeds from the campaign will benefit the creation of a Birthing Shelter in rural Sierra Leone and empowerment programs for young mothers in Kenya.

Host a $20 Buck Potluck Dinner Party for Maternal Health
In May, NextAid supporters and advocates will be hosting potluck dinner parties to raise awareness about the maternal health crisis and to collect funds in support of our maternal health programs. Sign-up today to host your own party. Just gather 10 or more friends and invite them to bring a dish to share along with a $20 donation. NextAid will send you a toolkit with invitation graphics and all the resources you need to throw a great party. For more info and to register a party, visit www.nextaid.org/women

Kawangware Vision Centre - Full Steam Ahead!
Over two years ago, NextAid partnered with KVC to make plans and fundraise toward building a new "green" workshop and multipurpose facility to expand their bag-making operation and ultimately serve more children & youth. Last year, we launched the first phase of the project, an eco-construction training program. This month, we are proud to announce, the project has broken ground and we have launched into full construction mode! Currently, NextAid's Director Lauren Sega-Avenna is in Kenya. Stay posted for her reports through Facebook and Twitter. We still have funds to raise to complete the project and need your help. Please make a donation today.
