Motorola Droid 3 Hands-On Videos Leaked?
Hold onto your hats, Droid fans.
German-language blog PhonePads obtained what appear to be official hands-on tutorial videos from Verizon and Motorola that walk potential users through various features of the upcoming Motorola Droid 3.
The videos allegedly demonstrate the Droid 3's slide-out QWERTY keyboard, Swype virtual keyboard, and 8 MP camera with LED flash and explain that the device will record 1080p HD video.
Engadget reports on other new additions seen in the videos, namely, "a pair of volume keys on the right edge (instead of the usual rocker), the apparent lack of a dedicated camera button, and both micro-USB and mini-HDMI on the left edge in the Droid X2 configuration."
"Earlier rumors also note the Droid 3's screen is 4 inches at a 960-by-540 resolution, but it's unclear whether the processor powering the phone will be an Nvidia Tegra 2, or OMAP," writes PCWorld.
Will the Droid 3 run on Android Ice Cream Sandwich and support 4G downloads? Impossible to tell from the videos, which include the following disclaimer: "Software shown not final. Your screens may vary." Still, these allegedly official videos offer a tantalizing look at the Droid 3.
