Commencement 2011: Prominent Speakers, 5,455 Graduates

May 23 ,2011 – Georgetown University graduated 5,455 students during its 2011 Commencement Weekend, May 19-22.

“Each one of you has had impact on this university community,” Georgetown President John J. You’ve demonstrated to younger classes how to build community. You’ve engaged in service to change lives in this city and around the world. In doing so you’ve enhanced our mission, deepened our knowledge and extended our tradition in meaningful ways. We celebrate your achievements and your accomplishments and we thank you."
