Adrian Peterson is widely renowned as the best running back in the NFL today. At Oklahoma University, he set the NCAA rushing record with 1,925 yards and 15 touchdowns. He was a first team All-American and runner-up for the Heisman Trophy in 2004. Peterson was selected as the 7th overall draft pick, going to the Minnesota Vikings in 2007 where he was named 2007 NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year as well as Pro-Bowl MVP.
