About ESCR-Net

Background

The impetus to form an international network grew out of a desire to make the connection between human rights and social justice and to create new pathways for greater global action.

Mission and Governance

A global movement working together to advance social justice through human rights.

Who We Are

ESCR-Net is a collaborative initiative of groups and individuals from around the world, including a General Assembly of Members, an International Board and a Secretariat.

What We Do

ESCR-Net seeks to strengthen economic, social and cultural rights by working with organizations and activists worldwide to facilitate mutual learning and strategy sharing, develop new tools and resources, engage in advocacy, and provide information-sharing and networking.

Board Members

The Board, elected by ESCR-Net members, is responsible for the overall functioning of the network and of orienting its work and development.
