Dallas Mavericks guard DeShawn Stevenson doesn't think his team can afford to play too physical against the Miami Heat in the NBA finals because LeBron James and Dwyane Wade do a great job at selling calls.

"They're great actors and they sell it," Stevenson said on Monday. "That's what they're supposed to do."

According to Art Garcia of ESPNDallas.com, the 30-year-old explained that when they touch the Heat stars, "they're so dramatic you might get a flagrant 2."

When asked about Stevenson's comments, Wade chose said he had no comment.

After the Heat eliminated the Chicago Bulls in the Eastern Conference finals, Bulls star Joakim Noah called Miami "Hollywood as hell."

The Heat beat the Mavericks in Game 3 on Sunday to take a 2-1 series lead. Game 4 will be played on Tuesday night at American Airlines Center.

He's correct. The Heat players all go to FLOP school. Even though they have some great players, they've resorted to flopping. I don't recall Larry Bird, Magic Johnson, Bill Russell ..and other greats resorting to such tactics. I view flopping as lying on the basketball court. It's a player's way of lying to the referees. To me, such tactics shows an obvious lack of integrity.

Meh, so they dive. Could care less who wins the series but the league needs to institute a technical foul rule for blatant diving. Supposedly soccer has such a rule but I've only ever seen it imposed a handful of times. Suspect it would be the same in the NBA.

Selling fouls is part of the game. I thought this thing would go 7 but between Terry's LeBron-bai­ting and Stevenson'­s comments, the Heat'll be so fired up that the Mavs might not make it out of Dallas.

lebron and d wade are the best at faking to get calls. for some reason the refs blow the whistle when dirk feels a breeze go by as well. i dont know if dirk fakes it like d wade and lebron but the calls have certainly been soft.
