Posted: 05/26/11 02:40 PM ET

Last week on HuffPost we mentioned that we had recently conducted some impromptu "jaywalking" interviews -- similar to those that you've probably seen onThe Tonight Show with Jay Leno-- to find out more about what people know about all things Greek, especially the many contributions that Greece and Greeks have made to our way and quality of life.

Check out the creative answers people had to the questions we asked them in the video below. See if you can answer the questions. OPA!

Some of the questions were a bit ambiguous but most of them were pretty easy. I love the old man who said Greece was in the pacific islands, rflo. and the guy who said he's been to hades, lol. these ppl r amazing u dont even have to study greek history to know like 80% of the answers.

I had to stop watching this somewhere in the middle. Obviously these adults and kids do not know much about ancient history, or have forgotten. While I don't blame them for not knowing why Greek's break plates,(unless you are of Greek descent like I am) I have to say I was embarrassed for them when they did not know that Greece is famous for Democracy.

Who breaks plates anymore? The last time I went to an event with plate-breaking was a baptism up in a mountain village.
