CLED offers professional training programs designed to meet the needs of individuals who already have a college degree and are seeking specialized English skills.
MBA Communication Tools for Success is for non-native English speakers entering the Georgetown MBA program. Students learn practical techniques and effective strategies for working with large amounts of information and understanding rapid speech involving business concepts and terminology.
The English for Heritage Language Speakers (EHLS) Program prepares native speakers of critical languages to become effective communicators in English and strong candidates for federal careers. All accepted students receive full scholarships covering tuition and a living stipend from the National Security Education Program. This intensive 8-month program runs from January through August.
