Georgetown Celebrates the Holiday Season

Georgetown University has celebrated the holiday season with gatherings that embody the richness of its community, from the annual Tree Lighting Ceremony, to a Menorah Lighting led by the Jewish Chaplaincy and the Jewish Student Association (JSA), to a Kwanzaa dinner sponsored by the Black Student Alliance (BSA). A spirit of peace, togetherness and warm wishes for the year ahead has been the common theme at each of these events, as members of the Georgetown community have celebrated their respective faith traditions and their appreciation for one another.

In a similar spirit, we hope you enjoy this collage of the season, featuring photographs, music and holiday reflections from President DeGioia.

Happy Holidays!
