Registration

The Cato University Seminar Registration fee includes all lectures and discussions, readings, and meals (breakfasts, luncheons, receptions, and dinners for six days). Some scholarships are available for full-time students. The registration fee does not include your room and tax, incidentals (such as phone calls or room service), or transportation.

Hotel and Travel Information

The Loews Annapolis Hotel, 126 West Street, Annapolis, Maryland is located east of Washington D.C., and is just 30 minutes from Baltimore/Washington International Airport (BWI). A taxi from the airport is approximately $45 one way. Alternate transportation can be arranged through SuperShuttle shared van service for $35 per person one-way. 24 hour advance notice is required. The hotel is also 45 minutes from Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (DCA). A taxi is approximately $67 one way, and Super Shuttle is $41 per person one way. Valet parked vehicles will be charged $22 per night, and self parking is $18.

The hotel is within walking distance of the Annapolis waterfront, the US Naval Academy, Maryland State Capitol, as well as nearby sailing, golf, volleyball, fishing, and tennis facilities. We will make the reservation for you on the basis of your selection below—please do not call the hotel to make your own room reservation. Cato University Bastiat Scholarship Program Cato University is an opportunity for high school, college, and postgraduate full-time students to explore their interest in the classical liberal principles of individual liberty, free enterprise, and limited government. Students must submit an application for review by committee. The basic cost per scholarship student is $1,789, based on double or triple occupancy. I wish to donate to the Cato University Bastiat Scholarship Program, which will contribute toward the cost of a scholarship student's hotel room, meals, and readings.
