Biography

Emily Bobrow joined The Economist in 2000 as Deputy Editor of Cities Guide on Economist.com. Since 2008 she has been editor of More Intelligent Life, the online edition of The Economist's Intelligent Life magazine. She has written for The Economist since 2002 about matters ranging from urban homelessness to American public education. Now she contributes primarily to the Books and Arts section, reviewing books, plays and art exhibitions. She is based in New York.
