Job Title: Finance Director

Position Summary: The Finance Director is responsible for all financial matters of Hudson Institute. The Finance Director will report to and work closely with the President and CEO and the Chief Operating Officer. In addition, he/she will work with the senior leadership to develop and implement strategies across the organization.
The Finance Director will oversee all compliance and recognition of government contracts and private grants. He/she must be able to adapt to a dynamic environment and thrive in an autonomous and deadline-oriented workplace while managing the finance staff.

Apply by:
Conduct independent research and interviews, manage research projects, and prepare reports for the Hudson Institute’s Center on Islam, Democracy, and the Future of the Muslim World; organize and participate in a talk, presentation, conference, seminar, or other public forum for the Institute’s Center on Islam, Democracy, and the Future of the Muslim World in order to bring increased visibility to the Hudson Institute; present at least one (1) new project proposal per year and funding assessments for the Center on Islam, Democracy, and the Future of the Muslim World which may include the following topics: South Asia and Greater Middle East, Ideologies of radical Islamist groups in South Asia and Greater Middle East, Influence of Islam on Pakistan's foreign and defense policies and domestic politics, Sectarianism in the Muslim world, especially Greater Middle East and South Asia, Foreign policy decision making structures in India and Pakistan, India-US-Pakistan ties and their changing dynamics, India - China-Pakistan ties and their influence on each country, and/or India-Pakistan ties and their impact on Afghanistan and US presence; continually propose creative and fundable projects appropriate for the Hudson Institute and the Center on Islam, Democracy, and the Future of the Muslim World; and, responsible for writing at least one (1) briefing paper, two (2) op-ed pieces, and one (1) article in a significant scholarly journal or major journal of opinion or policy per year.
Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Salary: $54,995.20
