The Finnish Transport Agency produces statistics on transport and on traffic lanes. The information is provided in print and electronic form for the use of citizens, researchers, planners and the economy.  

The statistics produced by the Finnish Transport Agency are part of the Official Statistics of Finland (OSF), which are a comprehensive collection of statistics describing the development and state of society.  OSF statistics are produced by 14 expert organisations in the field of public administration. They guarantee the continuation of statistics and are committed to common quality criteria. The OSF quality criteria are compatible with the quality criteria of the European Statistical System (ESS).
