How Does Financial Aid Affect My Bill?

Accepted financial aid in the form of grants, scholarships and loans are posted to student accounts as estimated credits against tuition and related charges.  If you have completed all financial aid requirements you don't need to pay the amount of these expected credits by the tuition deadline.

How Do I Receive My Living Expense Aid?

Financial Aid funds (not including Federal Work-Study) in excess of tuition and other charges will be available as a refund for living expenses after financial aid actually disburses at the start of the semester.  Refunds may be requested at that time through the Student Accounts section of MyAccess.

Incoming JD Students May Now Accept Their Financial Aid Awards

Incoming JD students who have received and reviewed their financial aid awards are reminded to complete Steps 5, 6 (if applicable), and 7 of the financial aid process to accept their awards.

All Students Should Use MyAccess to Monitor Financial Aid Requirements

All incoming and returning students should monitor their outstanding financial aid requirements on MyAccess.  Please note that it may take several business days for submitted documents to be processed and entered as completed -- MyAccess is NOT a real-time system.  (Returning JD and all LLM students will not be able to see their 2011-12 award information on MyAccess until later this summer, but may still view their requirement information.)

Summer Office Hours Now In Effect

To accommodate aid processing for the upcoming year, the Financial Aid Office has shifted to reduced public hours.  The Office and its staff will be available for visitors and phone calls from 10:00-5:00 Mondays-Thursdays and will be closed to visitors and phone calls on Fridays.
