Only photographs taken by Union-Tribune staff photographers and appearing in The San Diego Union-Tribune or on SignOn San Diego may be purchased as souvenirs through the Union-Tribune Photo Library.

Photo orders are handled by mail only and must be accompanied by a check or money order, payable in U.S. dollars, or a credit card number and expiration date. No phone calls, please.

The San Diego Union-Tribune owns the copyright on all Union-Tribune photos. Separate permission and payment are required for republication, for editorial purposes only, in newspapers, magazines or books. If you are requesting a photo for republication, please fax your request on your company or organization letterhead to (619) 293-2672 or mail your request to The San Diego Union-Tribune at the address listed below.

Union-Tribune photographs are not available for marketing, advertising, personal promotion, political campaigns, newsletters, or school newspapers. Also, the photos may not be scanned electronically for any reason, including use on the Internet.

Sizes of prints are approximate. Souvenir photographs are $35 for one 8- x 10-inch color print and $60 for one 11- x 14-inch color print. Any duplicate prints from the same negative are $10 less than the original. Even though a print may appear in black and white in the newspaper, all photographs are shot in color and are available in color only. Including a photocopy or screenprint of the desired photo(s) will help expedite your order.
