Ferrari driver Fernando Alonso took full advantage of a slow Red Bull pit stop for Sebastian Vettel to end his wait for a win in 2011 at the British Formula 1 GP. It was his first victory of the season.

Sebastian Vettel and Red Bull Racing celebrated Sunday on the podium at the end of the eighth round of the Formula One World Championship by winning the European Grand Prix, in Valencia, Spain, on Sunday. It was Vettel's sixth victory of the season and was obtained without anyone getting anywhere close to his Red Bull. Ferrari's Fernando Alonso.

Defending world Formula 1 champion driver Sebastian Vettel needed only one hot lap in the final qualifying to secure his seventh pole position of the season for Red Bull in Valencia for the Europe gp on Sunday.
