If you can't find the answer you need on this website, contact a Help Desk or drop by a Service Desk.
If you don't know your NetID password
If you have forgotten your NetID password (or if you are new to the University and have never had a password), you should request a password “reset.”
When you request a password reset, the Help Desk changes your password to the capital letter "A" followed by the last six digits of your Social Security Number.
The Help Desk cannot view your old password. Please visit the NetID page for a reset.
Desktop support
It is extremely important to follow the simple steps in How to Protect Your Computer: Guidelines for Faculty and Staff or How to Protect Your Computer: Guidelines for Students. Taking these actions will greatly reduce your need for desktop support. Failing to follow these steps could put your computer (and all its data) at risk.
Some problems require a technician to come out and work on your computer. If you need desktop support, you will be helped by a Technical Support Services team.

Law Center faculty, students, and staff should contact the Law Center Information Systems Technology department.

MSB faculty, students, and staff should contact the MSB Technology Center.
Support for departments that are not served by UIS
If your department is not served by UIS, you should contact your technology support provider for help.
