Doctoral Student Handbook
The Department of History Doctoral Student Handbook includes rules, policies, and other things PhD candidates need to know in order to successfully navigate the program. The Handbook is revised annually. Be sure to read the 2010-2011 Doctoral Student Handbook especially before sitting for comprehensive examinations or defending a dissertation.
In the revised 2010-2011 handbook, PhD students will find a useful checklist of program requirements and guidelines, broken down by year of study. The two-page checklist is also downloadable as a PDF here:
