APPLYING FOR FINANCIAL AID

Section: Applying for Financial Aid

Financial aid applications are required each academic year in order to be considered for financial aid. Students who fail to meet established deadlines run both the risk of not having financial aid available at registration as well as not receiving institutional aid.

1. Complete your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Georgetown University School of Medicine's FAFSA Code is E00518.

We recommend that students file the FAFSA no later than March 1, but there is no federal deadline for completion of the FAFSA.

All unmarried students applying for institutional financial aid and all students applying for Primary Care Loan funds, regardless of marital status, must provide parental information on the FAFSA.
