Banderas hails "Tunisians' bravery"

antonio_banderasCANNES (TAP) - Though not an easily approachable person, Hollywood star Antonio Banderas did not hesitate, in a brief statement to TAP news agency, to express "admiration for the bravery of Tunisians who seduced the whole world," voicing respect for "this warm people who, I'm definitely sure, will earn for themselves the status they deserve, after the historic events of January 14, 2011."

He also said that he had been discussing with Tunisian producer Tarak Ben Ammar the shooting of a new long feature in the Tunisian south.

Regarding his participation in the film "Black Gold" whose shooting in Tunisia had lasted five months, Antonio Banderas pointed out that "that experience in Tunisia was very special and unique in its artistic nature."
