Building on its long commitment to reverse systemic injustices in the United States, the Open Society Foundations today announced that it is joining a new initiative to address broad disparities facing black and Latino boys and men in New York City.

The Open Society Foundations invite young academics working towards their first doctorate and recent graduates of PhD or equivalent programs in Afghanistan, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Mongolia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan to apply for fellowships supporting the development of original scholarly research.
