Zander to pass baton at YPO
Conductor and Boston musical icon Benjamin Zander will be stepping down in 2013 from his post as music director of New England Conservatory’s Youth Philharmonic Orchestra. NEC has also announced that one of its recent graduates, Joshua Weilerstein, has been appointed as an assistant conductor at the New York Philharmonic, beginning in the fall.
