Claire Watt-Smith, the founder of BoBelle London, has been awarded Fellowship of the Royal Society of Arts; "this is a true honour and I am thrilled to awarded this prestigous title"

The Royal Society of Arts approached Claire earlier this year and she was awarded Fellowship for her drive and determination to help educate those about fair trade fashion and lasting designs. Claire attended the new Fellows evening at their Headquarters off the Strand in London where she was greeted by 40 other new Fellows and hosts; "the evening was a fantastic way to meet new Fellows who are all like-minded, though from completely different backgrounds! I met editors of magazines and newspapers, civil engineers, architects and more - it was great!", says Watt-Smith.

Since then Claire has been preparing for Global Entrepreneurship Week which runs from 16th-22nd November. Claire Watt-Smith has done presentations at Virgin Headquarters for Make Your Mark, the leader of Global Entrepreneurship Week. Claire was the 'inspirational speaker' whereby she had to tell her story of the history of BoBelle, the hurdles which she has faced and its growth and development. Furthermore, she spoke at d'Overbroeck's College in Oxford and has further presentations lined up including a radio interview for Eastbourne Youth Radio, a feature in the Eastbourne Herald and also in the national newspaper, the Daily Mail.

Claire is endeavouring to show that fair trade fashion can be luxurious and affordable. With the new BoBelle label expanding now into over 50 stores throughout the UK, we can hope to see more eel skin leather luxurious handbags and accessories in stores soon!
