The Pulitzer Center on Crisis Reporting extends its greatest appreciation to our supporters and donors. Primary core support for the Pulitzer Center comes from Emily Rauh Pulitzer, the Emily Rauh Pulitzer Foundation, David Moore, and the David and Katherine Moore Family Foundation.

Additional project-specific funding since the Center began in 2006 has come from:

  • Richard and Shirley Bansen, Abby Rockefeller and Lee Halprin, and Whole Systems Foundation in support of the Heat of the Moment Climate Change Project and reporting by Daniel Grossman.
  • Carnegie Corporation of New York in support of reporting on at-risk states and related educational initiatives, including the Fragile States project. The information flow from Pulitzer Center’s fresh, in-depth reporting greatly enhances efforts to develop coherent, fact-based approaches to these states at risk and to surface better practices in policy response.
  • The Educational Foundation of America in support of Global Gateway educational programs. Through this education initiative the Pulitzer Center engages teens and young adults in class and online by supporting development of issue-specific lesson plans, bringing journalists from the field to classrooms and promoting online dialogues about critical global affairs.
  • Conrad N. Hilton Foundation in support of the West Africa water and sanitation reporting initiative launch at World Water Week 2011 in Stockholm, Sweden.
