The FSAP Series brings programs besides wellness programs and presentations that an employee needs to be healthy in mind, body, and spirit in order to contribute fully in the workplace. The FSAP Series was designed to provide members of the Georgetown family with opportunities to learn more about fa
milies and relationships.
These programs are offered free to all Georgetown faculty, staff, students and family members. Courses and workshops are generally offered during the noon hour and training sessions are offered at a variety of times. Programs are announced on GU online calendar , GU Wellness and through our Wellness listproc e-mail.  To sign up for the listproc, please e-mail Sandhya Wilhelm at sw287@georgetown.edu​. Elder Care Series: The following guides you if you should attend this program. Are you the family member or friend who...
Oversees medication/diet of an elder?
Transports an elder family member or friend to appointments?
Manages his/her finances?
Grocery shops for an elder family member or friend?
If you answered YES to any of these questions, this program is for you. The program includes a 5-session series which will cover caregiver concerns (check to find out if you are dealing with difficult parents), elder concerns, legal issues, options to choose as a caregiver, and end of life care. Presenters are carefully chosen to accurately represent the topics. The options to choose as a caregiver will be a panel including representatives from a nursing home, assisted living and home-care and more. The end of life care will have a representative from a hospice and the legal issues session will be covered by a lawyer who will discuss the many legal complexities involving Elder Care.
Healthy Parent, Healthy Baby Adoption Series

This is a three part series offered each spring that provides information about the process of adoption both domestically and internationally to those members of the Georgetown community who are interested in adopting or in the process of adoption. The series includes segments on the adoption process itself, the psychological needs of an adopted child and the medical or physical needs of an adopted child.
The three sessions include:-
  1. The Adoption Process: Where Do We Start?
  2. The Medical Needs of Children Adopted Locally and Internationally
  3. The Psychological Needs of Adopted Children

ession prenatal class which covers preconception issues:
This program provides individuals or couples who are pregnant or who are thinking about becoming so with information about their own health and the health of their baby.
