View the video and click the "remove tag" link next to your name. It will no longer be linked to your profile.

Remember that you can only tag your friends. If you are having problems with someone constantly tagging you in embarrassing videos, just remove them as a friend (from the Friends page).

If you don't want the video to be shown at all, please talk to the person who posted it. They should be respectful enough to remove unwanted videos. Unfortunately, Facebook CANNOT make people remove videos that do not violate our Terms of Use.

In some cases, your likes from other websites become a part of your profile’s Info section, similar to when you like Pages on Facebook. However, because the Like button on other websites is a social plugin, websites may implement it in slightly different ways.

You can remove a like completely either by editing the Info section of your profile or by returning to the web page where you liked something and unliking it.

No, Facebook does not provide a functionality that enables people to track who is viewing their profile. Third party applications also cannot provide this functionality. If you come across an application that claims to offer this ability, we encourage you to report it. You can report applications that provide untrustworthy experiences by following the instructions outlined here.

Clicking "Like" under something you or a friend posts on Facebook is an easy way to let someone know that you enjoy it, without leaving a comment. Just like a comment though, the fact that you liked it is noted beneath the item.

For example, if you click a Like link beneath a friend's video:

• It'll be noted beneath the video that you liked it
• A story will be posted to your Wall that you liked your friend's video
• Your friend will get a notification that you liked his or her video

You can target each Facebook Ad to up to 25 countries. Your ad may be shown to users located in any of the countries you have selected. As you select additional countries, the estimated audience will update to show you approximately how many users your targeting includes.

If you choose to target more than one country, please note that you won't be able to refine your targeting to reach only specific cities. If you'd like to target certain cities, you're welcome to create multiple ads that each target a single country.

The Send button is for personal, private communication. It lets you share a link and short note as a private Facebook message, Facebook group post, or email. Learn more about Send.

The Like button lets you share content with all of your friends by publishing it to your profile and News Feed. Learn more about Like.

Your friends' ability to see a video in the "Videos of Me" section of your profile depends on the privacy setting the video owner has set for each individual video . If you did not upload a particular video in which you are tagged, you do not have the ability to change the privacy setting so that your friends can see that video.

To change the privacy settings on each video you have uploaded, follow the steps below:

1. Select a video that you have uploaded.
2. Click "Edit this Video" beneath the video.
3. Choose a setting next to "Privacy."
4. Click "Save" when you are done.

To control your default privacy settings for tagged videos of you, select one of the four global privacy setting groupings--Everyone, Recommended, Friends of friends or Friends only--in the "Sharing on Facebook" section. If you'd like to further customize these settings, go to the Customize settings section and change the "Posts by Me" drop-down menu to your preferred setting.

Generally, the best format to upload is H.264 video with AAC audio in MOV or MP4 format. H.264 currently offers the best video compression available, and due to file size limitations, this format is the optimal choice for Facebook Video.

To avoid the rescaling of your video by Facebook's encoder, use a file with the larger edge of the video not exceeding 1280px. If your video is less than 1280px in size on the larger edge, try to keep your dimensions to multiples of 16px for best compression.

Keep the frame rate of your video at or below 30fps.

Use stereo audio with a sample rate of 44,100hz.

If you target your ads to a country that offers city-level targeting, you'll now see the option to include other cities within a selected radius. This will allow you to more easily target your ads to users in cities and surrounding suburbs without choosing them all individually.

To use this feature, simply select targeting "By City" in one of these countries, and then check the box to include cities within your chosen radius.

When viewing a video that you are allowed to comment on, you should see an "Write a comment..." box below the video. Please note that you can only comment on your friends’ videos or videos in which your friends are tagged.

As you select each targeting criterion, we will display the approximate number of users that your targeting encompasses. You will see this on the right hand side of the ad creation page. Please keep in mind that this is an estimate of the potential audience for your ads on Facebook and is not exact. For example, we do not show ads to certain types of users in certain geographies, and to users of certain mobile devices. If you do not receive as many clicks or impressions as you would like, it is possible that your targeting constraints are too restrictive.

Advertisers experience better performance when an ad is targeted to at least a few thousand users. Please consider relaxing your targeting constraints if your audience is too small. If you are targeting only a few likes and interests, think about adding more related likes and interests. For example, targeting similar words such as "puppies," "puppy," and "dogs" will increase your target estimate, while still targeting the same relevant audience.

If you deactivate your account:

• Your profile and all information associated with it disappears from the Facebook service immediately.
• People on Facebook will not be able to search for you or view any of your information.
• We save your profile information (friends, photos, interests, etc.), just in case you want to come back to Facebook at some point. If you choose to reactivate your account, everything will look just the way it did when you left.

A lot of people deactivate their accounts for temporary reasons and expect their profiles to be there when they return to the service. This option gives you the flexibility to leave and come back whenever you want.

If you permanently delete your account:

• You will not be able to regain access to your account again.
• All personally identifiable information associated with it is removed from our database. This includes information like your name, email address, mailing address, and IM screen name.
• Copies of some material (photos, notes, etc.) may remain in our servers for technical reasons, but this material is disassociated from any personal identifiers and completely inaccessible to other people using Facebook.

Note: Facebook does not use content associated with accounts that have been deactivated or deleted.

There are two places to access information about your Facebook friends. First, the Friends Dashboard is where you can view your friends' latest activity. To get there, click the "Friends" link in the left navigation column. The Friends Dashboard displays your friends chronologically, based on their most recent profile updates. You can also select any of the friend filters on the left hand menu to see their latest News Feed stories.

The Edit Friends page is where you can manage your Friend Lists, browse and get information about current friends, and find or invite new friends. To get there, select the "Edit Friends" option from the Account drop-down menu in the upper right corner of the site. All of your friends and Pages are displayed in alphabetical order. Use the tabs in the left hand column to find or browse through friends and edit Friend Lists. Or, click the "Create New List" button at the top to create a new Friend List.

Please make sure that you received this request at an email address that is listed on your account. If the request was sent to a different email address then it will not show in your account.

In addition, if someone deactivates his or her account, you will not see the friend request on your Home page.

Feel free to send the other person a friend request from your account. Alternatively, you could ask them to request you as a friend again at the appropriate email address.

Having a copy of your information — whether that is on Facebook or any other service on the web — is an important part of controlling what you share.

In addition, downloading a copy of your information may come in handy if it only exists on Facebook. For example, you may have lost your mobile phone, which contained many photos you took using that phone. If you had uploaded those photos to Facebook, then downloading your information lets you get copies of them back on to your computer.

You should be able to view a video from any computer, as long as the latest version of Adobe Flash Player is installed.

You can decide who can see videos tagged of you and uploaded by you. Your options include: "Everyone," "My Networks and Friends," "Only People in my Primary Network," "Friends of Friends," "Only Friends," and "Only Me." You can also select "Customize" to prevent particular individuals from seeing a video.

The Like and Recommend buttons on other sites let you express interest to your friends with one click. In order for your action to appear on Facebook, you must be logged into Facebook at the time you click the button. You can choose who can see the things you like within your privacy settings.

When you click Like or Recommend, the button turns darker to indicate your approval. Back on Facebook, a story will appear on your profile and may appear in your friends' News Feed, just as if you liked something on Facebook.

In some cases, when you like or recommend content off Facebook, such as a movie, athlete or business, this connection works in the same way as when you like a Page on Facebook. It will appear on your profile, you may receive messages or updates in your News Feed, and you may be associated with the connection in Pages, ads, or social plugins.

You can remove a like either by editing the Info section of your profile or by returning to the web page where you liked something and unliking it.

You can only send video messages to friends. These messages can be sent to a maximum of twenty friends at once.
