Finance Minister returns home
[10/September/2011] SANA'A, Sep.10 (Saba) – Finance Minister Numan al- Suhaibi returned home Saturday from UAE after his participation in the Exceptional Meeting for the Council of Arab Ministers of Finance which has wound up its proceedings in the capital of UAE, Abu Dhabi.

The Minister said the meeting discussed several issues aiming at deepening economic and commercial exchange among Arab countries.

The meeting also highlighted means of developing intra-Arab trade as well as plans to be adopted, particularly as the meeting is a prelude for another one to be held next week in Cairo.

Al- Suhaibi went farther with saying the meeting has discussed a joint Arab mechanism to face economic challenges and the global financial crisis as well as Abu Dhabi’s initiative of accelerating aspects of economic building to be discussed in its final form in the ordinary meeting of the Arab Finance Ministers in Marrakech in April, 2012.
