If you're anywhere near Bergville in the Northern Drakensberg this is a must-do restaurant. Paula Joubert and her team of ladies cooked a superb and very reasonably-priced dinner for us. For startes we had Nutty Camembert cheese & roasted almonds wrapped in phyllo pastry and topped with a port-infused wild berry sauce and Bingelela Snails drenched in a creamy garlic sauce. For our main courses we chose Sun-Dried Tomato & Roquefort Rump and Chicken & Prawn Curry Thai style, both superb. We'll be back, and next time we'll stay in the lodge.

As always the Bingelela stop off on our trips from the Free State to KZN was legendary!! Party of 8 on a roadtrip and every one was VERY satisfied with their meals. Service quick but not rushed...choices are amazing...check out their menu! Well done Paula...certainly worth the detour if its not on your exact route!
