Catherine Cook, co-founder of the social networking site myYearbook.com, will speak about her experiences building her business, from creating the site with her brothers while still in high school through its recent merger with Quepasa Corporation for $100 million.
As trading officially began on Sept. 19 in CNBC’s “Million Dollar Portfolio Challenge,” students from Georgetown’s McDonough School of Business and seven other business schools embarked on the network’s “MBA Face-Off.” Teams of 10 students from each school are competing against each other in managing a $1-million “CNBC Bucks” stock & currency portfolio.
