Phone202-687-5932 Location4 Car Barn BioDr. Gerry Gingrich is a Professor of Systems Management in the Information Strategies Department of the Information Resources Management College at the National Defense University on Fort McNair, Washington, DC. Her research and teaching interests are: organizational innovation, design and renewal; information technology and change; and strategic thinking. She is a National Academy of Public Administration panel member for the strategic design of Federal agencies. Previous to teaching at the National Defense University, Dr. Gingrich was a co-developer and director for the Executive Masters in Information Systems in the School of Business and Public Management at The George Washington University. Earlier she taught information systems and strategic decision making in the MBA program at the University of Maryland. Dr. Gingrich obtained a Ph.D. in cognitive and organizational sciences from the University of Maryland in 1985 and completed post-doctoral studies in information systems at the University of Minnesota in 1987. She has published her research in the Proceedings of the International Conference on Information Systems, the National Defense University's Strategic Forum, the Defense Intelligence Journal, the Journal of End User Computing, the Proceedings of the Symposium on Human Factors in Information Systems, and Organizational Behavior and Human Processes. Prior to entering the teaching profession, Dr. Gingrich was a Project Director for Louis Harris and Associates, a Corporate Officer for NationsBank, and a Certified Public Accountant for KPMG Peat Marwick. She obtained a B.S. in accounting and business from the University of North Carolina. |
